What I believe and why it matters

Statement of Faith

For me, my faith is centred on Jesus Christ and secured in His saving work. My theological convictions are deeply shaped by the richness of Reformed teaching, especially in my soteriology, I believe salvation is entirely a work of God's sovereign grace from beginning to end. I believe that before the foundation of the world, God chose me in Christ. In time, He effectually called me, regenerating my heart by the Holy Spirit so that I could respond in faith and repentance.

By grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, I have been justified, declared righteous through His perfect life and atoning death. I am being sanctified, daily renewed and conformed to the image of Christ by the Spirit. And I look forward to being glorified—fully freed from sin and made new in the presence of God forever.

I hold to the authority and sufficiency of Scripture alone as the Word of God, which reveals who He is, who I am in Christ, and how I am to live as one set apart for Him. I am particularly influenced by the themes of union with Christ, assurance, holiness, and the transforming power of the gospel—truths that anchor the Christian life. Holiness isn't about perfection in myself, but about belonging to God and walking by His Spirit, even in the ordinary and sometimes messy moments of life.

Above all, I want my life and ministry to reflect this simple conviction:

It was the Father's gracious love that chose us, the Son's finished work that redeemed us, and the Holy Spirit's faithful work that keeps us.
